If you want to ease into it I’d suggest ignoring all the Konrad’s special rules about maintenance cards and just focus on Evomorph and how it Evolves and Vanishes. Then once you’re comfortable with that look at the maintenance cards

Love to hear it! I’m assuming you commented while in the middle of the video (I know, it’s long). I go over the sleeves I personally use at the end, it starts at 29:27. There’s other options but these work for me and are still going strong after 150ish plays. Hope you enjoy the game! Interesting question, I haven’t seen this asked or come up before. I would say you still have to reveal the Dark Power when the Finale is revealed because that’s in the base rules but you don’t have to place the horde since there’s no group of 3 or more. You remembered that when a zombie kills a victim to turn them into a zombie right?

Yes. If no Organism is out yet you set the MDPs aside and attach them to the first Organism to get revealed. They can have more than one MDP too.

The Killer panics just like a victim. Roll a die and move the Killer one space in the direction you rolled based on the panic numbers around their current space. Hope that helps!

​@MyklSkeleton Thank you, so much. I thought I was being a donut! The frost mechanic, if someone is outside for long periods do they get frost bite or is it just when you pull a card with that on it? When I first played I tried to get everyone inside.

@@kderrins Only when you pull a Terror card with the Frostbite symbol. When that happens everyone outside that already has frostbite will take 1 damage and everyone outside who doesn’t already have frostbite will gain it.

I’d still start with Hans if possible, it’s just easier to get used to the flow of the game without any extra rules. Then after a couple games you can bust open one of the others.

Yep! I recommend Hans or Big Bad Wolf to start out and then Dr. Fright is a good second film to get. Intruders would probably be my recommendation after that and then it’s really up to you. Yeah luckily they don’t move as the default action. And often they are grouped up in the beginning so after the first one kills the other two are left without a target. But once they separate it can get a little crazy!

All the maniacs on the board move every killer phase but they move one at a time. If it’s before the finale then yes they all have the same target (the final girl) but if it’s after the finale it might be different. In that case each maniac chooses their own target and does the maniac action on the finale card. Hope that makes sense, thanks for watching!

Agreed, it’s really cool what they did with Evomorph by having him evolve and vanish throughout the game. It’s why he’s (currently) my favorite killer!

I think it’s normal to lose quite a bit at first but solo games are usually meant to be difficult. Think about it, if you played and won your first 2-3 games would you even want to play again? Part of losing is that feeling that you were close to winning and maybe next time you’ll get it. Just keep playing and I bet you’ll start winning more. Good luck!

Yep! It was one of the stretch goals that we reached. I believe the S3 Vehicle cards will be in the Special FX crate, which will be sold in retail also if you didn’t get the Ultimate Box.

Thanks! I actually won a game.last night after 4 play throughs ha. I got really lucky with some items and roles utilizing pills and got my first amp card. Forgot I mixed in the Epic Dark Power card but still pulled out a win. I'm tired but now I'm ready to explore more of the library of expansions to the system. @@AndyVandercoy Sometimes the losses in this game are just as fun as the wins if you can embrace the story. Into the Void is my personal favorite. It’s close between that one and A Knock at the Door but Evomorph wins out for me. Of course I tend to change my rankings everytime I think about it lol. I’ve always wanted to play Broom Service, it looks fun. But I’m the supplier of most games with my friends and I’ve never picked it up.

Question: Would a “Buyer’s Guide” video interest you or do you prefer watching the rules videos separately? Once I’m done with the Zombies video I was thinking of doing one that goes over the suggested buying order and has super brief overviews of each film. Just wondering what you think of that idea.

@@MyklSkeleton I really like the current format because it presents all the essential rules and options of the respective feature box in just a few minutes. It probably wouldn't be that detailed in a comparison (Buyer's Guide). That's why I think it would be good if you kept this format. On the other hand, you obviously have a lot of experience with the feature boxes and a ranking of which boxes you like best is also very interesting to me. I think one doesn't exclude the other. Maybe you can simply do the comparison (ranking) additionally.

@@MyklSkeleton surprisingly I just won with Asami on the first try. I got a string of cards and rolls that helped a lot. Plus I focus a lot of effort to keep my horror track low. Hans took me four tries to win one. I have only had time to try Poltergeist once and failed miserably.
